Bad Weather Disrupts Vaccine Shipment To Central Coast; Some Vaccinations Being Rescheduled

The bad weather impacting much of the nation east of the Rockies means some people won’t be getting vaccinations Wednesday on the Central Coast.

Santa Barbara County Public Health officials say a shipment of Moderna vaccine which was supposed to be used in Santa Maria Wednesday has been delayed by the weather.

There’s enough vaccine on hand to give shots to about 400 people, but 800 others have been rescheduled.  The impacted people have been notified, and are being given the chance to reschedule to next week.
