Erin O'Toole

Voice of KCLU

Erin started her career in Cincinnati where she was a traffic reporter by day and a volunteer public radio music host by night.  Although she spent almost nine years in commercial radio, her heart was in public media.

Currently, Erin is part of the award-winning news staff at KUNC in Greeley, CO where she also serves as Morning Edition host.  For six years starting in 2003, Erin served in a similar role at KVCR in San Bernardino / Riverside where she also hosted public affairs programs on KVCR-TV. Erin was selected as a USC/Annenberg Health Journalism Fellow, studying and reporting primarily on healthcare reform, domestic violence and health awareness media campaigns.

Erin graduated with a B.A. in Communication Studies from California State University, San Bernardino.
In her spare time she enjoys hiking, reading (science fiction or politics – or any combination of the two), listening to and creating music, and watching her dog chase squirrels.
