Death In Santa Ynez Valley Now Being Called Homicide

It was initially reported as a traffic accident, but CHP officers and firefighters arriving at the scene in the Santa Ynez Valley Road found a homicide victim.

CHP officers and firefighters were called to the 6200 block of Foxen Canyon Road in the Los Olivos area Sunday night.  They found the body of a man next to a vehicle, and determined there hadn’t been an accident.

Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s detectives took over the investigation.  They are now confirming it’s a homicide case.  But, they aren’t releasing the man’s name, or any details about what they think occurred.
