Ventura County Man Facing Second Degree Murder Charges For Crash Which Killed Woman, Granddaughter

A Ventura County man is now facing two second degree murder charges, and two gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated charges following a head on collision between a car and a scooter.

The crash happened last June, on Pleasant Valley Road between Oxnard and Camarillo.

CHP officers say Jacob Anthony Caliboso was intoxicated when he smashed into the scooter.  Elva Andrade and her seven-year-old granddaughter Neveah were both fatally injured.

The 21-year-old Oxnard man pled not guilty to the charges.
