Teens Attack Park Employees In Simi Valley; One Worker Seriously Injured

A mob of teens attacked two park employees in Simi Valley's Berylwood Park Thursday night. One worker suffered serious injuries.

Police are looking for a mob of teenagers who attacked two park workers in Ventura County, leaving one seriously injured.  It happened Thursday night in Simi Valley’s Berylwood Park.

The workers arrived at the park at around 8 p.m. to do some routine maintenance.  Simi Valley Police detectives say a group of 10 to 12 teenagers ranging from 13 to 16 years old blocked their way.

When the workers asked them to move, there was a confrontation, and the teens attacked the Rancho Simi Parks and Recreation District employees.

The teens then fled the scene.  One of the workers was taken to a hospital for treatment of serious injuries, and the other was treated for minor injuries.
