Ventura County Approves Major New Affordable Housing Project

Ventura County Supervisors have given final approval to a massive new affordable housing project which is expected to provide some badly needed new homes for the region's farmworkers.

The 360 unit complex will be built off of Somis Road, in Somis.  It will include one, two, and three bedroom units, as well as parks, playgrounds, and community centers on about 18 acres of land. Plans call for the project to be built in three phases.
