Two Kern County Murder Suspects Arrested On Central Coast

What started as a domestic disturbance call turned into a tense situation on the Central Coast, when deputies realized they might have stumbled across some armed and dangerous murder suspects.

It happened Wednesday night in Avila Beach.  San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a parking lot by a report of a domestic dispute When they checked the license plate of a parked car, they discovered it was linked to two men wanted for murder in Kern County.

They discovered one of the men was in a nearby motel room.  They were able to get two women, and three kids safely out of the room before arresting Davon Thomas without incident.

The other wanted man, Emanuel Johnson, was arrested as he was found walking nearby a short time later.
