Major Storm Arrives In Region; Central Coast Getting Heaviest Rain So Far
The third, and most powerful in a string of storms during the last week has arrived on the Central and South Coasts, dropping rainfall and causing some street flooding in areas.
So far, the heaviest rainfall has been on the Central Coast, in San Luis Obispo County and northern Santa Barbara County.
Cambria has had four inches of rain, Los Osos three inches, San Luis Obispo more than an inch and Nipomo around a half inch.
In Santa Barbara County, Lompoc has had more than an inch and a half of rain, Solvang 1.25", and Santa Barbara just over a half inch.
Ventura County has just had light rainfall so far, but is expected to get heavy rainfall Thursday and Friday as the storm shifts south.
Three to six inches of rain has been predicted for San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara Counties, and two to four inches for Ventura and Los Angeles Counties.
