Another Deadly Day On Central, South Coasts From COVID-19; 33 Additional Deaths Reported

The death toll continues to mount on the Central and South Coasts as a result of COVID-19.  33 additional deaths linked to the virus were reported in the region Tuesday, pushing the overall death toll to 694.

Ventura County had 21 deaths, for a total of 372.  Santa Barbara County reported eight, and San Luis Obispo County four.

2294 new positive COVID-19 cases were reported in the Tri-Counties.  Ventura County had more than half of them, with 1326.  Santa Barbara County had 470, and San Luis Obispo County 498. 

The three counties have had more than 89,400 positive cases since the start of the pandemic.  More than 50,000 of them are in Ventura County.
