Detectives are trying to sort out what led to an attack on the the South Coast that left one man dead and multiple other people injured. It happened just before 6 Sunday night, on Santa Barbara's Eastside.
Investigators think someone fired shots into a group of people off of Liberty Street. A man who was wounded later died at a hospital. Details haven't been released on the other injuries. No arrests have been reported.
Detectives are looking into the possibility the attack was gang-related.
