Authorities are trying to determine what led to the death of a person whose body was found in a rural area of Ventura County.
A real estate agent showing a citrus orchard near Fillmore to some prospective buyers discovered the body Friday morning. The body was on the 1500 block of Telegraph Road.
Ventura County Sheriff's detectives are investigating the death, but there's no word on whether it's considered to be suspicious. They aren't saying whether it was a male or female. An autopsy is pending.
