Assault Rifles Seized By Detectives Investigating Ventura County Burglary

Three Ventura County men are facing charges following a burglary which led to the discovery of a number of assault rifles, and other illegal weapons.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives started an investigation after an August burglary in Camarillo, in which some weapons were stolen. They identified some suspects and served search warrants in Oxnard, Ventura, and Camarillo.

14 illegal weapons were seized, as well as some potential bomb making materials.  Three men were arrested on a variety of charges, ranging from possession of illegal weapons to felon in possession of a fire.
