Ventura County Based Outdoor Clothing Company Makes Shorts With Blunt Environmental Message

A South Coast based outdoor clothing company known for its environmentalism has included a special message about climate change in some of its shorts.

Ventura-based Patagonia has added tags on the inside of the shorts saying “Vote The A**holes Out."

Company officials say the tags aren’t a commentary on the current administration, but are aimed at all elected officials who are climate change deniers.

The clothing is a special edition of its  Road to Regenerative™ Stand Up® Shorts.

Patagonia is known for supporting environmental projects, and even has funded a series of documentaries about the subject.

Lance Orozco has been News Director of KCLU since 2001, providing award-winning coverage of some of the biggest news events in the region, including the Thomas and Woolsey brush fires, the deadly Montecito debris flow, the Borderline Bar and Grill attack, and Ronald Reagan's funeral.
