A SUV plunged into a San Luis Obispo home Wednesday night, leaving four hurt

Four people were hurt when an out of control SUV crashed into a home on the Central Coast.

It happed at about 10:30 Wednesday night, in San Luis Obispo.  Police say four teens had gone into a supermarket, with one of them stealing alcohol and some other items.  They jumped into an SUV, and sped away.

San Luis Obispo Police say the 17 year old driver then apparently lost control of the vehicle, and smashed into a home on Garcia Street.  The SUV went through the front of the home, crashed through several rooms, and came to rest sticking out the back of the house.

Three people in the home were hurt, with one reported to have serious injuries.  The 17 year old driver suffered minor injuries, and was arrested on a felony DUI charge.
