The Air Force is planning the test launch of a missile from the Central Coast. The launch window for the unarmed Minuteman III missile from Vandenberg Air Force Base is 12:02 to 6:02 a.m. Wednesday.

It would be the latest in an ongoing series of launches from the base to test crew and equipment readiness.

The Air Force conducted its last Minuteman test launch from the base last month.  The missiles typically fly to a test range in the South Pacific.
