While firefighters continue to battle a number of major wildfires in Northern California, containment is now up to 95% on one in Ventura County.
The Holser Fire started Monday afternoon near Lake Piru. It briefly threatened some nearby homes.
Firefighters were able to protect the structures. The 3,000 acre fire moved northeast, away from the community.
Crews were able to stop the growth of the fire Tuesday, and have been focused on building containment lines during the week. About 40 firefighters are still on scene, looking for hot spots.
