Credit Union Steps Up To Help Non-Profits In Ventura County

A credit union has stepped up during the coronavirus crisis to help some non-profit groups on the South Coast.

The Ventura County Credit Union made $50,000 in grants to 11 organizations.  They include groups like some of the county’s Boys and Girls Clubs, Senior Concerns, Food Share and the Ventura County Community Foundation.

The grants are focused on supporting the efforts of non-profits which are helping people impacted by the coronavirus crisis.

The credit union is a non-profit itself.  It’s the largest locally based credit union in Ventura County, with more than 80,000 members.
