Deputies Say Two Men Caught Trying To Install Credit Card Skimmers At South Coast Gas Station

Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies say they caught two men in the act of trying to install credit card skimmers at a gas station.  It happened at a gas station on the 4000 block of Adolfo Road in Camarillo.

Deputies were called to the station when someone reported seeing the men trying to install something on gas pumps.  When officers reached the scene, the two men fled into a nearby field.  The duo was quickly found, and arrested.

A search of their pickup truck parked at the gas station discovered skimmers, bolt cutters, and other tools used for installing the illegal devices.
