Ventura County Court System Extends Closures, Limited Operations Into June

The Ventura County court system has extended its coronavirus related closures, and changes in operations.

Most courtrooms, and all clerk’s office will remain closed to the public through June 9. A handful of courtrooms are open to hear urgent criminal, juvenile, and other issues which are deemed emergency cases.

Jury service is suspended through June 12. For prospective jurors, if any were scheduled to be a juror between now and June 12, they've been released from their obligation.

All civil trials and non-emergency hearings have been suspended in Ventura County since March 20th.

For people have a traffic citation, they're not off the hook. They are still due, and can be paid online through the court’s website.
