Santa Barbara County firefighters get upper hand on brush fire near Hollister Ranch

Firefighters are getting the upper hand on a brush fire burning in a rural area of Santa Barbara County, 

The blaze was discovered just after two Thursday morning on Hollister Ranch, west of Gaviota.  

It's burned about 150 acres of land. 

More than 100 Santa Barbara County firefighters are battling the blaze.  There are a few scattered homes in the area, but there's no word of any structures being destroyed or damaged.
