South Coast City Looks To Get Word Out On Open Restaurants

A South Coast city is trying to help its residents find open places to get takeout food and support its restaurant community during the coronavirus crisis. The City of Goleta launched their new “Goleta to Go” page on the city’s website.

The website lists more than 50 restaurants, delis, fast food, and other businesses serving up takeout food during the crisis. City officials say they are adding to the list daily.

In addition to letting the community know what’s open, the city is hoping to encourage people to support local businesses which are struggling as a result of the crisis.  You can find the "Goleta to Go" site here.
