A storm system brought another quarter to half inch of rain to the Central and South Coasts, but more is still on the way to the region.
A cutoff low in the Channel Islands southwest of Ventura County continues to spin moisture onshore.
During the last 24 hours, the heaviest rain was to the south of us, in the Los Angeles basin, with some spots there getting more than an inch of rain.
Ventura County had between a quarter and a half inch of rain, with a quarter inch in Oxnard, a half inch in Thousand Oaks. Santa Barbara County totals include a third of an inch of rain in Santa Barbara and Solvang.
We could see another half inch to inch of rain between now and Friday along the coast, and inland, with possibly up to two inches in the mountains. Some mountains in our region have now had more than six inches of rain in the last week.
