A man suspected of attacking a teenage hiker in Ventura County this week has been arrested in San Diego County.

A man grabbed the 16 year old girl as she was walking on a trail near her Oak Park home Thursday.  She was able to break away from him, and run to safety.

Ventura County Sheriff's detectives and Thousand Oaks Police say they identified Edgar Rodriguez Ruelas of Woodland Hills as a suspect.  He was found at the Torrey Pines State Preserve Friday afternoon, and arrested with the help of San Diego Police.

The 37 year old man was book at the Ventura County Jail on an attempted kidnapping charge, where he's being held in lieu of a million dollars bail.
