With ridership booming, a Central Coast bus system has upgraded its fleet of buses.
Santa Ynez Valley Transit has added two new buses to its system. The system links four communities: Buellton, Solvang, Los Olivos and Santa Ynez.
Officials say so far in 2020, ridership is up by almost a third from the same time period last year.
The two new buses will be used to replace a pair of aging buses owned by the transit service.
