A woman suffered burns in a Monday afternoon fire which destroyed two vehicles

Investigators are trying to figure out what led to a fire which sent a South Coast woman to the hospital with burns, and destroyed two vehicles. It happened just after two Monday afternoon, on the 2100 block of Isabella Street in Oxnard. Police and firefighters were called to the scene by reports of a woman trapped in a burning vehicle. When they arrived, they found two vehicles parked in a driveway of a home fully engulfed in flames.

There was no one in the vehicles. But, a woman who was nearby had burns, and was taken to a hospital. The injuries are described as non-life threatening.
