Man Shot, Fatally Wounded In South Coast Parking Structure

Detectives are still trying to sort out what led to a man being fatally wounded in a South Coast parking structure. Ventura Police were called to the 500 block of Harbor Boulevard just before three Saturday morning by reports of a shooting. They found a man on the parking structure’s top floor with multiple gunshot wounds.

Despite efforts to save him, he died at a hospital. Officers got enough information to identify a suspect vehicle. The CHP spotted it, and tried to stop it. The driver refused to stop. There was a chase which ended when the car crashed in Oxnard.

Three people were arrested, and a fourth fled and is still being sought.
