Man Gets Eight Year Prison Sentence For Ventura County Gas Station Robbery Spree

A man has received an eight year prison sentence for a string of gas station robberies in Ventura County.

Prosecutors say over a two week period in 2018, Andre Lamont Ingram robbed stations in Ventura, Oxnard, Camarillo, and Thousand Oaks.

After the 33 year old man was identified as a suspect, Ventura County Sheriff's detectives used cell phone records to place him at the scene of each of the robberies.

He was convicted of four counts of robbery.

Investigators say Ingram apparently used a weapon in each of the robberies, but no one was hurt.
