Man Gets Seven Year Sentence For Central Coast, LA Area Bank Robberies

A man has been sentenced to seven years in federal prison after admitting that he robbed banks on the Central Coast, and in the Los Angeles area. Federal prosecutors say Dino Trias of Bakersfield robbed a Grover Beach Bank in 2018, and a Long Beach bank in 2019.

They say in both cases, he threatened tellers with what appeared to be a gun, and escaped with thousands of dollars in cash. No one was hurt.
