Possibility Of Rain In Forecast For Central, South Coasts During Christmas Week

Rain is in the forecast for the Central and South Coasts for Christmas week, but meteorologists say it won’t pose any serious issues for the region’s brush fire burn areas. A storm system will bring rain to the Central Coast midday Sunday, and the South Coast Sunday night. Rainfall totals are expected to be in the half inch range, although there could be up to an inch and a half in some mountain areas.

Then, light rain is possible on Monday. But, the latest update show rainfall dropping out of the forecast for Tuesday, which is Christmas Eve. Another chance of rain is in the forecast for Christmas Day, but it’s still a question mark at this point.
