Man Convicted Of String Of Gas Station Robberies In Ventura County

A man could spend up to eight years in state prison after being convicted of a string of gas station robberies on the South Coast. Andre Lamont Ingram was convicted of four armed robberies in 2018 in Ventura County. They happened over a two week long period in Ventura, Camarillo, Oxnard, and Thousand Oaks.

Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives say he used a gun to rob the gas stations. No one was hurt.

They say based on evidence they developed, they got a search warrant which put Ingram’s cell phone at each of the robbery scenes when they occurred.

He was convicted of four felony counts of second degree robbery. Ingram will be sentenced in January.
