Ventura County Sheriff's detectives say among the items they seized from a Ventura County man was a flame thrower

A Ventura County man has been arrested for being in possession of an arsenal which included a half dozen assault rifles, 20,000 rounds of ammunition, and a flamethrower. Ventura County Sheriff’s detectives received information that Christopher Oleksik of Camarillo might be converting guns into assault rifles.

They got a search warrant. Detectives say they seized rifles, handguns, ammunition, and what appears to be a fully functional flamethrower. The investigators say some of the firearms didn’t have serial numbers and were unregistered. The 38-year-old man was arrested on charges from being under the influence of a controlled substance to manufacturing assault rifles.
