Detectives are trying to figure out what led to a weekend shooting on the South Coast which left a man dead. Oxnard Police were on patrol just before 4 a.m. Sunday near Perkins Road when they heard gunshots.
They started to search the area, and were flagged down by a bystander. They found a man who appeared to be in his 20’s with multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. There’s no word yet on the identity of the victim.
