The weather roller coaster continues for the Central and South Coasts Monday. The Red Flag Warning for parts of the region has been cancelled, with the wind easing. But, there is still an elevated brush fire danger for the region, with breezy conditions and higher than normal temperatures.
Then we may see the first rain of the season starting late Tuesday. The rain could start in Ventura, and Los Angeles Counties Tuesday night, and spread to the rest of the region Wednesday.
Rainfall amounts would be light. There’s no concerns about issues in brush fire burn zones, with rainfall amounts for our region expected to be a half inch or less. The chance of showers is expected to clear on Thursday.
