Woman Dead In Ventura County Home; Authorities looking For Potential Explosives In House

Police are still trying to unravel what happened in a Ventura County neighborhood where a woman was found dead in a home, and there were indications that there might be explosives in the house. Simi Valley Police were called to the 500 block of Fairfield Drive at about 7 Thursday night.

A man reported finding a seriously injured woman in the home, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

There was also a message on a wall saying that there was a bomb in the home. Some nearby homes had to be evacuated. There’s no word on the identity of the woman.
