It’s back to school Friday for thousands of college and public school students in Ventura County, after some unexpected time off due to the Easy Fire and the weather.
Cal Lutheran, Cal State Channel Islands will be open again after two days of closures. Also open will be Moorpark, Oxnard, and Ventura Colleges.
Ventura County Office of Education officials say there are no planned school district closures Friday due to the Easy Fire, or public safety power shutoffs.
