A fair which is bringing some of the biggest names in rock and country music to the Central Coast is underway. The California Mid-State Fair kicked off its 12 day run in Paso Robles Wednesday.
Performances by rapper Cardi B and country star Blake Shelton are sold out. But, tickets are still available for a number of other concerts, including Billy Idol, Smokey Robinson, Lynyard Skinner and the Zac Brown Band.
The fair features traditional elements like carnival rides and crafts shows, but also some new things like what’s known as Camp Rattlesnake. It gives people a chance to get a closeup but safe look at the often feared snakes.
