Santa Barbara County Search And Rescue Team Members look for a missing Casmalia man

Santa Barbara County Search and Rescue Team members, K-9's, and aircraft are being used to search for a man who was last seen on the Central Coast June 9th.

Witnesses reported seeing Robert Brusstar of Casmalia on trails on the north side of Vandenberg Air Force Base last weekend.

When he didn't show up for work on the 11th, the 68 year old man's employer called the Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Office, asking to have deputies check to see if he was home.  They say his front door was unlocked, and his keys, cellphone, and wallet were in the house.

A search has been underway since, but there has been no sign of the missing man.  Neighbors say he routinely hiked on trails in the area, and that's where the search has been centered.
