South Coast High School Placed On Lockdown, Two Students Arrested After Gun Replica Found On Campus

A South Coast high school was placed on lockdown, and two students were arrested after police received a report of a gun on campus. Oxnard Police say a 17 year old Hueneme High School student brought a pellet gun to campus Wednesday morning.

It resembled a real gun. Investigators say the 17 year old student passed the pellet gun to a 15 year old student. Police found the 15 year old student with the pellet gun in a classroom.

The weapon was recovered, and the two students were arrested for possession of a pellet gun on a school campus. The 17 year old was also charged with exhibition of an imitation firearm.
