South Coast Medical Clinic Reopens After Renovation, Expansion

A South Coast medical clinic officially reopened Friday, after completion of a year long renovation and expansion project which will allow it to offer additional key services. The Carpinteria Health Care Center remodeled its Walnut Avenue complex, going from six to eight exam rooms, and adding programs and services.

Carpinteria Health Care Center Administrator Daniel Denhalter says they are adding something called CARP CONNECT. It’s mental health services that in the past required people to go to Santa Barbara to receive.

There’s also a cutting edge child well-being program.

The renovation expands the clinic’s capacity from 500 to 800 patients a month.
