South Coast Photographer Facing Sex Crimes Charges

A South Coast photographer has been arrested after detectives say he tried to solicit young girls for sex acts, and for sexually explicit photos. Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s investigators say they arrested Zachary Warburg on more than a half dozen charges.

A San Marcos High School student told authorities that she received inappropriate communications from the 28 year old man. It sparked an investigation.

Detectives say Warburg contacted a number of female junior high and high school students in person, or by social media. They say he would the sometimes solicit sexual acts, or sexually explicit images.

They are still looking for more potential victims.
