String Of Small Storms Passing Through Central, South Coasts; No Debris Flow Issues Anticipated

The latest in a series of small storms to hit the Central and South Coasts didn’t do much in the way of rainfall for the region, but more rain is on the way. Westlake Village had just .02" of rain, Ventura had .13", Carpinteria .20", Solvang .42", and Lompoc .13" A couple of spots on the Central Coast had over an inch of rain, including 1.3” in Los Osos.

Three more small storms are on the way.

One could drop a quarter of an inch of rain in the region Thursday. A second is expected Saturday, but is predicted to mean light rain north of Point Conception. And, the timing is unclear for a third small storm expected for early next week.

No issues are anticipated for any of the brush fire burn zones in the region.
