Central Coast Film Festival To Honor Emmy, Golden Globe Nominated Award Actor Alfred Molina

An actor who got his start in the opening sequence of the iconic movie “Raiders Of The Lost Ark” and has starred in dozens of movies since is one of the honorees at a Central Coast film festival. The San Luis Obispo International Film Festival is presenting its King Vidor Award to Alfred Molina.

The London born actor starred in films like “Boogie Nights,” the Woody Allen comedy “Celebrity,” and the critically acclaimed film “Love is Strange.” Last year, Molina received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations for his role as director Robert Aldrich in the FX series “Feud: Bette and Joan.”

He’ll be honored March 16th at San Luis Obispo’s Fremont Theater, with Turner Classic Movies host Ben Mankiewicz serving as Master of Ceremonies. The 2019 festival runs March 12th through 17th.
