Another Storm Headed For Central, South Coasts; No Issues Expected In Brush Fire Burn Areas

The latest in a string of storms to hit the West Coast is headed our way, but no issues are expected for brush fire burn zones in the region. A storm is moving towards the Central and South Coasts, with rain expected north of Point Conception late Tuesday, and south of it Wednesday morning.

The computer models disagree about the exacting timing of this storm. The heaviest rainfall is expected for the Central Coast, with more than two inches of rain possible, with less than a half inch expected for the South Coast. There could be lingering showers through Thursday.

A much stronger storm is possible for Saturday, with the potential for subtropical moisture bringing stronger rainfall. But, meteorologists say it’s too soon to make solid predictions about the weekend system.
