Bodies Of Three People Killed In Plane Flight From Central Coast Recovered

Authorities recovered the bodies of three people from the wreckage of a plane which crashed while flying from the Central Coast to the Los Angeles area. The plane went down in Kern County during a storm Thursday night. But, because of heavy snow crews were unable to reach the scene until Sunday.

Kern County Sheriff’s Department officials say the crash happened in mountains near Tehachapi, at the 6700 foot level. Crews had to dig through several feet of snow to find the wreckage, and recover the bodies.

Federal investigators are trying to determine what led to the crash of the twin-engine plane. The names of the victims haven’t been released yet.
