Two Storms Headed To Central, South Coasts For Weekend, But Rainfall Expected To Be Minor

RAIN_1.jpg

For the first time in a week, the Central and South Coasts are getting a break from the string of storms which brought as much as ten inches of rain to parts of the region. Public works and Caltrans crews are taking advantage of the dry weather to clear creeks and debris basis filled by the storms. It won’t be a big break.

Rain is in the forecast for this coming weekend, with two systems headed our way. The first storm could bring a half inch of rain to the Central Coast, and a quarter inch to the South Coast Friday night and early Saturday.

The second second system is expected Sunday afternoon, but it’s also only predicted to bring light rainfall to the region.  No problems are expected from either system in brush fire burn zones.
