February 6th Marks Ronald Reagan's 108th Birthday; Event Planned At Reagan Library

FEBRUARY 6TH marks Ronald Reagan’s 108th birthday. It’s being celebrated with a special event today at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Ventura County.

There’s a ceremony beginning at 11 a.m. with a Marine band, a speech by Arizona Senator John Kyl, and laying of a wreath on the late president’s grave. The outdoor ceremony is free, but there is an admission charge as usual to the museum.

Reagan was America’s 40th President, serving two terms from 1981 to 1989. He died in 2004, at the age of 93. He and his wife Nancy are buried on the museum’s grounds in Simi Valley.
