The first of what’s expected to be three storms passing through the Central and South Coasts is leaving the region Monday without causing major problems, but storms two and three could pose bigger concerns. Rainfall from this first system ranged from less than a tenth of an inch in Montecito to an inch and a half in Agoura Hills.
Ventura had a half inch, as did Ojai, while Westlake Village recorded 1.3”.
The second storm is expected on the South Coast late Tuesday morning, spreading into the Hill and Woolsey fire zones by Tuesday evening. It’s prompted a flash flood watch.
Storm number three is expected to arrive Wednesday night, and last into Thursday morning. It’s not looking as powerful as earlier predicted, but coming on top of two other storms public safety officials are concerned about the potential for issues in brush fire burn zones.
