New County Supervisors Take Office In Ventura, Santa Barbara Counties

It’s a time of big change in the leadership of Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties.

In Ventura County, former Simi Valley Mayor Bob Huber officially took office as the county’s Fourth District Supervisor. He takes over for Peter Foy, who decided not to seek re-election after three terms in office.

And, in Santa Barbara County, Gregg Hart was sworn in as the county’s Second District Supervisor. Hart was a Santa Barbara City Councilman, and Deputy Director of the Santa Barbara County Association of Governments. He takes over the post held by Janet Wolf for 12 years, after she decided not to seek a fourth term on the board.
