A South Coast Superior Court judge has retired, after serving more than 20 years on the bench. Ventura County Superior Court Judge Glen Reiser was appointed to his post by then Governor Pete Wilson in 1988.
During his tenure, he handled everything from criminal trials to environmental law matters. Reiser was involved in efforts over the years to streamline the court process by using technology for things like electronic filings.
Before being appointed to the court, he spent more than two decades in private practice.
