Spy Satellite Launch From Central Coast Bumped Again

(ULA photo)
The launch of a spy satellite from the Central Coast which has been scrubbed four times has now been pushed back until at least January 6th

There are more delays for the planned launch of a spy satellite from the Central Coast.

The United Launch Alliance planned to launch a Delta IV rocket with the satellite from Vandenberg Air Force Base in early December, but a combination of techincal and weather issues led to four postponements.

ULA officials then announced the target was moved to around December 30th.  Now, plans call for the launch to take place on January 6th, or after.

Depending on the time of day and weather, it's expected the launch could be visible thoughout much of California.
